Tarpon & More:Hanson's Fishbuster Charters SW FL

Captain Dave Hanson of Fishbuster Charters fished off Boca Grande and off Bonita Beach (including May Reef & DGH Reef) this week, using threadfin herrings and shrimp. Client Greg Bedel caught, photographed, and released a tarpon over 100 pounds, off Boca Grande. Clients fishing off Bonita included Jeff Hefke, with friends Mark & Dave; and Buzz & Nancy Sollers. They caught keeper gag grouper to 28 inches, numerous catch-and-release red & gag grouper, keeper mangrove snapper, hogfish, Spanish mackerel, lane snapper, and assorted reef fish.
