Hatteras Offshore Report 7/8 -7/11 [Post#: 331 ] Reply to this post

The fishing at Hatteras has been on average good. The fleet has been catching bailer, large bailer and gaffer dolphin. Some boats have averaged 3 to 6 tuna and 1 to 2 wahoo also.
The billfishing picked up today, when some of the fleet found a new body of water late yesterday south of the inlet. This body of water had a good showing of blue and white marlin, and nice gaffer dolphin. The boats that fished in the area saw an average of 6 to 8 billfish with the high boat releasing 3 whites and the others releasing 1 to 2 billfish. Hopefully my next report will be as good as this one.

We are going to go looking tomorrow for the right fishing spot. You can check out may daily report on www.bossladysportfishing.com to see how we did or www.hatteraslanding.com book the boat. We still have a lot good fishing days left at Hatteras.

Let's go fishing
