If you care about Lake Lanier, GA [Post#: 640 ] Reply to this post

Do you ever wonder if we will ever see our lake full again?

Is it still safe to swim in it?

Is it really OK for Gwinnett County to dump 40,000,000 gallons of treated sewage into the lake every day without degrading the water quality?

Exactly what effect will too much phosphorus have on water quality?

What are the ramifications of the proposed settlement in the Tri-state Water Wars?

These and other questions about Lake Lanier will be answered at a Town Hall meeting with U.S. Representative Nathan Deal and Colonel Robert Keyser with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Also, just announced-- Gov. Roy Barnes will be in attendance.
